| Admission
|
|
All application
must be made in the prescribed form supplied along with this
prospectus with two photo copies each of certificate to prove
age, qualification and conduct with five copies of passport
size photographs., etc.
Application
can also be submitted in person on any working day between
8 a.m. & 2 p.m.
Incomplete
applications are likely to be rejected. Admission will be
approved on merit and if necessary after an interview. On
receipt of the admission order the applicant should pay the
prescribed fees and other charges within the period. Failing
which the offer of admission may be treated as cancelled.

| Progress
Report and Detention |
|
Progress of
each student is reported to his parents/guardian after each
months examination and final examinations. The student as
well as the parent have to sign the duplicate copy of the
report and return the same to the institute. The Director
/ Principal has the power to detain a student found unfit
to be promoted to the next section.
|
| Educational
Visits |
|
Tours to place
of technical interest will be arranged by the institute, students
are liable to pay cost towards such visits. |
| Working
Hours |
|
The classes will be conducted any time between 8 a.m. to 6
p.m. in working days as per the timetable. This can be altered
from time to time with prior notice.
|
| Discipline |
|
Absolute discipline
must be maintained in the college and hostel. Violation of
this rule will result in severe disciplinary action being
taken against the offer including dismissal from College.
Students dismissed on disciplinary grounds will not be eligible
for any certificate or refund of fees and deposits.
|
| Management
Rights |
|
The management reserves
the right to make additions or alterations to the existing
rules, working hours, time table mode of training as may be
found necessary from time to time. The student shall be required
to abide by all the rules that are inforce and that may be
made inforce in future from time to time.
|
| Payment
Of Fees |
|
Fees and other charges
are to be paid for the complete term of course, whether paid
in lump-sum or installment (as decided at the time of admission)
irrespective of date and month of admission. Fees or other
charges are payable in advance are neither refundable nor
transferable under any circumstances.

| Legal
Jurisdictions |
|
In case of any dispute between the management
of the institute and the students only the civil court in Cochin
will have the legal jurisdiction. |
| Attendance |
|
Each student must at
least attend 80% of the lectures in each month during his study.
His percentage will be counted from the date of admission only. |
| New
Session |
|
New admissions are
usually entertained only in the month of July and January
unless notification is made in the local newspapers for change
to be made, if any.
|
| Further
Rules |
|
In any matter not
covered in these rules and regulations, the decision of the
director or his authorized representative shall be final and
binding on the student and guardian.
|
| Attention
Of Students And Guardians |
| Fees
or any charges once paid, will be neither refundable nor transferable
in any case. |
| Attending
Classes |
|
Students must not sit in the classroom
before time and should vacate the classroom immediately after
the lectures are over. |
|
Respect to the principal and the other
members of the staff shall be obligatory in each student.
If due to any reason a student is asked to leave the class
or Institute premises by the teacher or the Principal, he
must leave the same immediately without any argument. Appropriate
and severe action will be taken against the defaulter. Such
students can tender his grievance through an application later
to Principal.

All complaints regarding studies or
other matters must be addressed to the Principal in writing.
Verbal statement will not be taken into consideration. Each
student will state his difficulties individually. Joint representations
shall not be taken into consideration.
|
|
In case of anything taught in classes is not fully understood,
it should be brought into the notice of the principal in writing
the same day and any complaint made to this effect at a later
stage shall not be considered.
|
| Medium
Of Instruction |
|
The medium of instruction is English.
The student should fully cooperate and do as and when required/
published on Notice Board in the matter related to factory
training, Picnic, Tour, Discipline, Uniform, Extra Curricular
activities, Payment of Fees, Submission of University/ Board
registration - Examination Forms. Payment of the Charges,
timetable etc.
